Ning Shu sat by the bed. “Don’t overthink things and just rest up properly.”
Song Ning held onto Ning Shu’s finger tightly as she said softly, “Gong Luo, is it really that hard to give me your true heart?”
Hard, it was very hard. There was no way Ning Shu would give her heart to someone else. If her heart was no longer with herself, would she still be herself? Would she still be able to complete tasks calmly?
She couldn’t even guarantee her own life right now.
So there was no way she’d hand over her heart, much less to a woman. That was even more absurd.
Ning Shu said mildly, “What do you want my true heart for? Aren’t things pretty good like this?”
